An even better working environment!
As of today, ICL is the proud owner of an air humidifying system. And no, we don’t have to walk around with umbrellas!
- However, staff will now have even cleaner air to breathe as fibres and dust will disappear.
- There is no static electricity, so there’s even less of a fire hazard as well.
- Plus the system promises a more consistent quality of product and equipment.
- The air is not as dry either, so no dry skin and eyes anymore.
- And last but not least, this piece of equipment will take care of cooling when it gets above 25 degrees. It can lower the temperature by as much as 4 degrees.
In short, nothing but advantages.
ICL reaping the benefits of 25 years in the game!
Today, all of the staff surprised the ‘bosses’ with an absolutely delicious cake and a tree for the beautiful garden. This surprise was, of course, in celebration of 25 years in business. The cherry tree, which is still a little bit on the small side, promises to blossom beautifully and to provide ICL with juicy cherries. Meanwhile, on 27 April, the brothers have a surprise in store for the staff, as the entire company will be going to Paris then! It goes without saying that a report of this will be drafted with photos.
Anniversary shirt
As you probably already know, ICL is celebrating its silver anniversary this year and such a milestone obviously calls for a new shirt. Take a look at the photo of the latest version, being modelled by our very own Jerson. Nice, huh?
ICL is 25
Now, in 2012, ICL has grown into a professional firm that supplies the world, with a 1,000m2 production hall, a 500m2 office and ± 30 employees. As always, providing service is the highest priority! The know-how that the men have built up over 25 years means that ICL is increasingly operating as an advisory body in the field of high temperature gaskets, and with their help a suitable solution is always found. ICL will be celebrating its 25th birthday in style and customers and business relations will, of course, receive their invitation in good time. New website

Two new employees
After an eventful year with several staff changes, pregnancies and unfortunately also illness, ICL is back on track with sufficient staff. The production and office teams are once again complete and working at full speed. Edith Kepel (left) works in Logistics and Pauline Hoogzaad in the communications department.
ICL goes China
Remco Tournier has just returned from an eventful business trip to China. Besides the hectic negotiations, there was also some time for sightseeing. This was an overwhelming experience, because everything is HUGE there! The negotiations were successful and friendships were forged; we can look forward to a fruitful cooperation.
Tower of strength
Like any other company, ICL also has its ups and downs, and on these occasions it’s Mirjam who’s always there for staff. So, we’d like to take this opportunity to show her our appreciation. Mirjam, thanks for all your support!
ICL is going green
ICL recently introduced the ambience of the Mediterranean with magnificent olive trees at the entrance and gigantic plants in the production hall. ICL is very happy to support a greener living environment, which, of course, starts with yourself. Furthermore, a greener workplace is stimulating = higher production
ICL as Oxfam Novib ambassador
ICL is not only concerned about its own staff, but also about the rest of society, which is why it has decided to become an Oxfam Novib ambassador. Being an ambassador means donating a sum of money every month from which microloans can be issued. This enables people in developing countries who have no access to ‘normal’ banks to still acquire a loan and start up their own business.
ICL's experience
At its staff outing last September ICL visitedExperienceIsland. While the ladies engaged in some glassblowing, the gents drove quads, shot some arrows, did an assault course AND climbed a pole to then jump from this enormous pole to a trapeze. Everyone came down from the pole as white as a sheet, but still with a sense of accomplishment. It was a really successful outing and the ladies were allowed to take their works of art home too.

In September 2009 ICL proudly received the official certificate NEN-EN ISO-9001:2008. As an independent organization Quality Masters extensively assessed our quality system. Spear head of the evaluation is customer satisfaction. As an ISO-certified organization ICL proves to have a solid system of quality control, which continuously pays close attention to development and improvement. It also certifies that ICL operates within current legislation.ICL highly values the quality of their actions. Of course, our clients and business relations play an important part in this.
